Silverado Towing Mirrors
Silverado towing mirrors.I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado with power heated mirrors (regular non towing mirrors). I want to upgrade to the power heated extendable towing mirrors with external signal or with the turn signal in the glass that Monster Auto Parts has. Since my Silverado doesn't have the turn signals in the mirrors, will the new towing mirrors with the turn signal work? Has anyone tried this?

From what I understand GM only used one wiring harness in the doors on the Silverado, that would connect to the mirrors. So the wiring maybe there for the turn signals even if you dont have the mirrors with them, but Im not sure.

This is correct, starting with model year 2003. All wiring harnesses' for the mirror came off the production line with the same harness regardless of the features of the mirror being installed on the Silverado, Sierra.
